Over the years, we've had the privilege of getting to know so many wonderful dogs and their owners. We've watched nervous puppies grow into confident adults, celebrated new additions to families and shared countless milestones along the way.

We may only see you every few weeks, but it's these relationships that make Dog Spa so special. We're incredibly grateful to the owners who trust us with their dogs and proud to have built a community that has supported us since 2018.

Meet the Team

Salon Owner & dog groomer

Jenell

If you've ever called, emailed or texted Dog Spa, there's a good chance you've already spoken to Jenell. As the owner of the salon, she loves getting to know both dogs and their humans, and many customers have become familiar faces over the years.

She has a particular love for handstripping, Asian Fusion styling and all things terrier-related. If a Wire Fox Terrier walks through the door, expect Jenell to be first in line to say hello.

When she's not in the salon, she's usually out walking her Border Collie, Pete, who many customers will recognise from around Dog Spa with his permanently unimpressed expression.

Michelle

If there's a "Mama Bear" at Dog Spa, it's Michelle. Known for her calm and patient approach, she's often the person helping nervous dogs settle in and feel comfortable. Customers love her gentle nature, while the team appreciate the steady influence she brings to the salon.

Having grown up with Chow Chows, Michelle has always had a soft spot for the breed, alongside Cockapoos and Doodles. At home, she's kept busy by her two Shar Peis, who are every bit as loved as the dogs she grooms at work.

Hannah

If there's one thing you'll quickly learn about Hannah, it's that she cares deeply about doing a great job. Her attention to detail and conscientious nature mean she takes great pride in every groom she completes, and it shows in the beautiful grooms she produces.

She particularly enjoys grooming Miniature Schnauzers, Chihuahuas and Doodles, and is always keen to learn and continue developing her skills.

When she's not perfecting her grooms, Hannah can usually be found singing along to 80s classics in the salon.

Lauren

Lauren is known for her hardworking nature, positive attitude and the beautiful grooms she produces. She particularly enjoys grooming Doodles and Shih Tzus and takes great pride in helping dogs look and feel their best.

When she's not at Dog Spa, Lauren enjoys wakeboarding and spending time with her two French Bulldogs. While she likes to think of herself as the adventurous one, the team know she's also one of the biggest softies in the salon.

Libby

If there's one person guaranteed to make you smile, it's Libby. Known for her sense of humour and positive attitude, she's often found winding up her colleagues or singing along to a musical soundtrack while she works.

She particularly enjoys grooming Doodles and creating stylish Asian Fusion trims, taking great pride in helping every dog look and feel their best.

Outside of work, Libby is usually accompanied by her Labrador, Olive. Although she likes to tease Jenell for being over-the-top with Pete, the rest of the team know she's every bit as dog-mad herself.

Alice

Alice's appointments are some of the most sought-after in the salon, and it's easy to see why. Her beautiful grooms and incredible attention to detail have earned her a loyal following of customers over the years.

She particularly enjoys grooming Cockapoos, Cocker Spaniels and handstripped breeds. Outside of Dog Spa, Alice is studying Ecology and Conservation at University. We're all quietly hoping she'll be the one to save the planet!
